Doesn't ruin my day. This would though. http://cms.firehouse.com/content/art...onId=45&id=821
I drove for 10 years. A lot of things can ruin your day. $450 log book fine. Some bitch waitress on the rag. Dock Foreman in NYC, says you have to hire one of his guys to unload your truck. That SOB that cut you off......(Times 1000). Stuck in DC /495 Jam and have to piss! (And no Gatorade bottle) And on..and on..and on..
But, some things make your day: Finding the Truckstop in Oregon with Live Bands and Nice ladies. Sleeping on top of Mount Helena in Montana. Smelling the Orange Groves 2000 feet below you dropping off Tehachapi. Spending Sunday morning polishing your rig. BBQ in Alexandria, Va. (On your 5th wheel) And on..and on..and on..
Truckers rock!If you are driving a Chevy, everything else, is just a blur. 3.4 Carbon Footprint.

I thought I knew how to drive...Untill I lost my brakes with a total of 94,000 lbs, dropping off the 1 mile downgrade Cumberland Gap in Va.
Yes, I was overloaded, I drove a Grain Wagon, that is how we made money, by weight.
Trucking is a cool life, you get to see all of it. The bad, the good, the disgusting, and the moronic. I could tell you stories that could make you puke, or smile.
And I personally logged over 1.5 million miles, without a chargable accident. (Mirror loss on Grand River Bridge in Missouri don't count)If you are driving a Chevy, everything else, is just a blur. 3.4 Carbon Footprint.

My grandfather always wanted my brother and I to get our CDL and drive semis for him. Mostly hauling wood to mills, but a little dump truck and equipment hauling. I never did, but now I kind of wish I had because I could have made some good money during the summers I was home.
