  • What do you guys use as a daily driver?

Your project car? Or something else?

Recently i purchased a 99 Chevy Prizm(same as a toyota corolla but 20% cheaper because of the chevy logo) for $2500!!! with 118k miles. All it needed was a tuneup, transflush, coolant fush, serp belt, headlights, and an alignment. All performed by myself(automotive tech student)

I had to buy a car desperately so I could pull the motor out of my grand prix. And boy I'm glad I did. I hated putting miles on that car. I bought it with 61k and now it has 89k parked.

    lets hear ur stories

Ive had 1 car forever now...though I can borrow my dads car since he has a small car lot going on. I did a lot of walking on phoenix when I was having my motor rebuilt, and I drove my dads SHO when I did my engine/trans swap.

my Grand Prix is my daily car , but actually my dad just flew to FLA to visit my bro for 3 months so for now it gonna be a 01 hyundai accent. Poor guy has'nt landed yet and his son is already pulling the intake to make a CAI.
I wish 10% of the people on the road knew how to drive

92 chevy 1500 2wd currently down getting a 305 swapped in for the knocking 4.3, so lately i've been putting a little of the daily duty on my 79 caddy deville, and all the work duty on my 76 c30 dually.

Beretta is my daily driver, although I think I driver the Blazer more. I drive the Beretta to work, then meet my wife after work to get the kid/Blazer while she goes to work. And she drives the Beretta home. The Blazer gets all the mileage (we've had it for just at 18mo. now and have already put over 37,000 on it!).

black 99 explorer eddie b. 4x4 130Kmi. if olny it would wipe my but for me... never had anything that was automatic everything. its got a 4.0 sohc v6, and a 5 speed auto, never even knew ford had one. supposed to be like 210 hp, a whole 15hp less than the 5.0 for the same year. I don't plan to do anything with it but drive it, except for some "diamond" lights. looking at ways to get more mpg from it. so far it gets about 18-20 mixed, and after i stop the small tranny leak, im going to take a road trip back to my old neighborhood and i think it should pull of 25mpg if i drive the limit and just enjoy the cruise, despite the 4.10 gears.

I used to daily drive the sunbird all year long, but for the past 3 winters my 1992 Subaru Legacy LE awd was the winter cruiser. However mid winter of course the head gaskets went in it, And its been parked since January. (I still need to fix this and dont feel like pulling the engine to do fucking head gaskets just yet)

But, The bird hasn't been driven since October of last year as its stripped to bare frame. Which resulted in me picking up a new Daily driver back in Feb, 1990 Eagle Talon TSi, AWD. This is my new summer daily driver... which has a blown clutch as of two weeks ago. Waiting on my ACT 2600 to arrive

1995 Jeep YJ (woman's vehicle) We're finally selling this fucking thing this year. Can't wait. I hate YJ/TJ jeeps. argh.

Buying a new car come Oct, Likely a WRX.

05 Silverado Z71 extended cab. It aint the greatest on gas, but its not terrible either. Just waitin on my buddy to finish up my tranny, then the Lumina will get the daily duties. This is the third vehicle I've had since the Lumina was first parked back in Oct. First it was a 97 GMC 2500, 320,000 miles, ran like a top, but it sure was a thirsty bitch. Had that for two weeks, traded a friend for a 1989 F-150, 4.9 straight 6, 5 speed, 4 wheel drive, it was a POS, and I hate Fords, but I did have a lot of fun with that truck. Then traded that for the Chevy in Feb.
