Just figured I'd see what kind of collections everyone has...

I just organized my DVDs onto a new holder. I have 169 DVDs (some have multiple discs like The Chappelle Show and Rush in Rio, but are only counted as 1), plus about another 20 for my daughter, but these also include movies like Toy Story, Shrek, etc, so they should be counted as well. Then I think we have a couple loaned out to friends. So I'm pushing close to 200 DVDs. Oh, and I have a movie in every letter except Q.

As far as CDs go, I counted a couple years ago and I think it was around 450. I am currently in the process of copying all of them to my computer, which is a very long process by the way. I think I'm probably about 1/3 of the way through the CDs, and with counting files I DL'd from the internet (back in the Napster and early Kazaa era), I currently have 3030 songs on the HD. Figure I will probably easily double that by the time I finish copying everything.

I also have an assortment of maybe a dozen VHS tapes as well as about a dozen Mini-Discs as well.

I think that's about it.... Anyone else care to share?

I get the local news. :P And 2 UHF channels. And over 150 VHS movies, my favorite is "Free Bird". Followed by "Tombstone". I ain't got time to count my CDs, but there is no rap.

Blue Oytser Cult Live, has to be my fave. Has the song.."Red and Black" on it. Funny thing about that song. It's about the Canadian Mounties. And the first Rush album just plain ROCKS!!!

I only buy Cd's from bands that are great and I really like. I wont buy anything new until I know their CD is worth the money.

Otherwise I download every song that I like and have about 4000 songs.

Well, McKenzie and I went shopping at Wal-Mart tonight, and I picked up 2 more DVDs for her (from the 2 for $11 bin). Just happens that I found "Quest for Camelot", the cartoon, so I had to pick it up to fulfil my Q movie.

Speaking of napster a couple of weeks ago I bought a 15 song card at Best Buy just to see what they had available. HaHa, there wasnt no Metallica!
