  • Just saying Hi

    Hello, My name is Stephen.

I found this site while looking for information on my SeriesI L67 SC and decided to stick around for a bit.
I drive a 1995 Buick Riviera with the original 3800SC and a couple of mods to keep the Honda kids angry, who would have guessed that a Grandpa car would take a 'tuned' Civic?

Anyway, I'm a college student here in Miami and it's nice to see all of you.

    RE: Just saying Hi

welcome aboard and post pics of the Rivi. I'm surprised you're shocked that and american V6 can trump a honda civic seeing most of the "tuned" civics envolve a fartcan muffler and oversized wing, especially one with a blower. well hope you stick around maybe convince you to buy a t-shirt
I wish 10% of the people on the road knew how to drive

I'm not really that amazed, I have a friend who owns a Buick Regal Grand National and I've seen him eat Mustangs for lunch; it's just fun to have someone my age roll up and rev and I have to yell "It's a Buick" as he gets to read my tag.

That's better than making this page take forever to load.

I got it from my Grandmother's frined, excelent condition those pics were taken the day after I got it. She bought a new G35 and had to sell the Riv.

I'm looking for cheap power and have already gutted the air box and am getting an ECU reflash soon. I'd lower the pully size but I have something else planned

      Edit:
I understand what you mean with that signature, I live in Miami and aparently turn signals were an option in this area, and an expensive one at that.

              From Consumer Guide
Rivieras came in a single price level, with a standard "3800" 3.8-liter V6 engine. Shoppers who craved more get-up-and-go could select a supercharged version of the V6, producing 225 horsepower (20 more than standard). A 3-place front bench seat was standard; leather buckets optional.
So the answer is 225, and I have most every option except for the sunroof; we get more than enough sun here in Miami anyway.

In 1996 they used the SeriesII with 15 more horses, and kept with it until the end of the Riv in 1999 when only about 2000 were produced.
