  • Any of you guys help motorists in need?

    I do on occasion.

This evening I changed a tire on an '01 Miata for a middle-aged lady. She was most thankful, the car is kinda new to her, she hadn't changed a tire on it yet.

OT, but when I got back to my apartment, steam rose from under the hood of my truck. It'd popped a radiator hose. Good thing I have a spare in the cab. Just need it to cool before I go out there and mess with it. Is this my reward for helping someone?

i was going somewhere, but my way was blocked by a minivan with a flat. not one, but 3 guys. 2 my age, and 1 senior. between the 3 of them they had no idea have to get the spare off so they could change the flat. i was so impressed by them i dropped the spare and just left. 3 guys, combined age of over 100, very new looking minivan... and i had to get the spare down. for not being able to open the glovebox and read the book, minus one point for mankind. now i don't stop.

but if it is a "damsel in distress" i'd think about stopping

I've changed a few tires for strangers and offer rides to hitchhikers. I figure with all the inconsiderate pieces of shit in this country someone has to be the good guy, not to mention if my mom, wife, or any of my aunts were having problems on the road I would appreciate a charming and very good looking guy to come by and offer a hand. so It's kinda like Karma.

I also would help out a stranded motorist in need. Especially if she's a hottie!

Seriously, there are some good samaritans out there, not all are assholes.

I've helped a couple of times, usually when it's a lady with kids in the car.
