Has anybody delt with him before. If so, any stories to tell about service, etc.

Talk to gearhead43 on clubgp/w.body. I know you can do a search on w-body and find something.

      RE: Jeff @ Engineered Performance

I've dealt with him twice for my Limited slip. Have nothing but great things to say about Jeff and Engineered performance.
They were quick to send me my diff and Jeff helped me out with my "race" upgrade from the street version I orignially bought.

I also bought the posi diff from him and had no problems with him at all. He also gave me some tips on my project motor. I haven't finished my motor yet so I don't know how well the posi works but the workmanship was very good.

I've also bought a diff from him. Took a while, but they were backed up during the holiday season and as soon as he got the backorders taken care of, he got mine done and sent out. It's a real nice piece, and I've talked to him several times and he's very helpful. Only complaint I have is that I've been waiting for over 4 months to get my core charge back now and I still haven't got it yet after several calls. Guess I need to call again. It's kinda annoying because that's money on my credit card that I'm paying interest on, so I'm losing money.

A hairline crack developed in my transmission case today (where the diff is).

I believe the differential is ok, but the tranny will need pulling and the case will need replaced. I attribute this to the tranny I bought for $250 shipped. The diff was about to give, and I believe the case was scored. The only good thing about this: All of the components can be checked for wear after 681 miles...

I will try to get some pics of the differential after the recent hell I have given it.
