What color would tranny fluid be after 125Kmi? My SUV has a minor leak from it looks like the pan gasket, and the fluid coming out is like new in color. just wondering. I figured if it was like new when I would think it should be darker by this time, that someone else fixed it and just overtightened the pan bolts and split the gasket.

The trans should have been flushed out several times by that mileage. So if it was taken care of yes the fluid should look new.

no i think im 3rd owner. i'll just make a ass of myself and assume whoever did the flush overtightened the pan bolts, i'll pick up a filter/gasket from the local KOI and a case of fluid and do the job. Its a really nice vehical, not uber fancy, but it got most of the equipment. the only other woe is it seems to steam or something. i havent seen anywhere were coolant is leaking at all. noticable on the passenger side, but not the drivers side, if you stick head in the hood while its hot and running you can see and feel it, but the drivers side of the bay is cool. if any leak, just a pinhole, nothing major. no odor in the steam.If you aren't friends with a liar, you aren't friends with anyone.Comment
