Anyone see that MASH episode? That's what it looked like at work today. We are a plastic injection plant that makes car parts for ricers. I came to work today and got the news..Our largest account decided to pull their molds. All 41 of them. It kinda snowballed from there....2 more accounts pulled since 7 AM. Place has been crawling with Japanese suits all day. Are they going to shut the doors? Hmmm, My boss told me not to buy anymore maintenance items just yet. He also returned the book I loaned him 2 weeks ago. I know he hasn't had time to read it yet. Glad it isn't winter........

I guess you can tell that I am posting at work..Here is how fast these things happen. 10 minutes ago, we were told, that as of next Friday....well, you can figure out the rest. Such is life. Oh well.

on the flip side we are gaining 2 new injection molding machines where I work from our sister plant in Iowa. They are rigging them right now. Also getting about a half a dozen new molds from them too. This is one of the first times ive actually been on the "good" side of lost production. BTW RBC if worse comes to worse I might be able to point you towards a tooling job depending on your nook in the molding industry.

You are very astute! The owner filed Chapter 13. Found this out after my last post. What an enlightening day this has been. At least the Cutty comes home tomorrow. And my experience in the molding industry is vast budlight. Thanx. I won't have trouble finding work. This was just so close. Just another "Blue Collar Casualty"

Got called back in to repair a mold, that the owners, (Ricers), wanted to see running, before they took it back. I obliged. Fuck the broken stripper bolts. I welded it! Put that in your Toy-fucking-ota! (Runs fine in our machine. Wait till they try a different process.)

Well that blows. I didnt run your car at the track, spent most of the day dealing with crap ass tools trying to get heads off a motor. I have to change your oil and clean your car up tomorrow, so hope you don't mind waiting an hour after I get to the shop:P Got you PM but here should be just as good for a reply. 8am EST...so thats about 10:30 when you get up to mishawaka? I think im on the same time as you, since michigan is an hour ahead of us.
