Yes, I've heard of it. Only because you posted this scam crap over at bstuff.com earlier in the day.

Yeah, I've heard of it. American Express offered me something like it a few years back. What they offered was a service for small things, like wills, lease agreements and "consultations". If it was something major like having to go to court, they offered their services for a reduced fee. Well, what would have been $1200 later, I have yet to need a lawyer, and I don't see having to need one anytime soon.

I honestly don't think it's a scam, it could be quite useful to the right person.

I was thinking more along the lines of spam, not scam...

I say scam. Those types of services always accompany pushy telemarketers. The dirty kind who try to belittle you, and try to insult your intelligence in your choice for not wanting their "services". Because they offer a "no-risk" money back guarantee. But they always make you do monthly automatic withdrawl payments and shit, that are impossible to stop without a court order.

I agree this would be a type of spam, however it is worse. Because it is like telemarketing, we open to view this topic like answering a telephone number we don't recognise. At least with spam you can just delete what you don't recognise. But you may always be getting a call from friends or family from a different number. So, you pick up the phone. People don't send you emails from somebody else's email address, they just use their own.

We are just lucky that we can't get a virus from this "tele-spam". Plus, "The Professor" isn't so pushy.

It is not for me but my landlord at the shop uses it and swears by it. I do know this... he does not put any cash out unless it is to his benefit.
