  • New ride **PICS** - 56k warning

**didn't know if this should go in members rides or not, but since its not a 660 i figured off topic would be the place...

Well i finally picked up my new ride. I "bought" a 2002 grand am gt, and it was... well... the opposite of good, so the dealer took it back. I looked at a Subaru Impreza RS 2 door coupe... and it sounded like the windows were open and i was going 200km/h... only i was doing 50km/h... very crappy car.
I looked at a 2000 GTP and it was a very very nice car, if only i was a little bit older, smarter, and more mature.

And finally, I came acrossed this:
2000 Mustang GT with mach stereo... thank god gas isn't expensive .

<--- yes auto, it was the only one i could find for cheap

I would have preferred a 5 speed black car, but i couldn't turn down this car.
I wasn't going to buy it... but well... once i drove it... and revved it... i had to.

RE: New ride **PICS** - 56k warning

I know a kid that just one here at Tech school and he drives it like shit.

He almost hit me leaving school, then he almost hit someone coming back to school when he dragged raced up to the stop sign didn't stop and proceded to turn right while the person in that lane who was actually paying attention swerved before time to let the hot shot blow the stop sign. I mean the guy tried to pass me in a one lane left turn on a green arrow, so I swung alittle wide to see it he could stick it and he lost the rear end some.

I think if he doesn't shape up soon he will total it, or get a major ticket.

Anyway I have little head room for hot head street racers that don't know how to handle a RWD on sandy roads.

I am not saying you are a hot head racer, but this being somewhat fo a blah post and it did bring this guy at school into mind I figured I share it.
    I am back

looks good to me, i like anything with wheels, except roller blades and unicyles (i guess thew unicycle doesnt count since it just has a "wheel" not wheels.) baby strollers suck too. and wheelchairs, unless they are power.

i like that body better than the one before it. And there is nothing wrong with auto in my book, its easy in traffic, and you can't shift a stick faster than one. whats the MPG on that? if i keep my trans am at about 68-69 on the highway i can get 30mpg. 70+mph and i'm starting to chug fuel and it drops exponentialy after that.

17mpg in the city, 30 on the highway at 65mphish... so its about the same.

thats cool, i average about 20-22 or so, depending on where and how i drive, sometimes it getts under 20 when im ripping up the curves and stuff on the backroads. if i beat it hard daily im sure i'd have to fill the tank a few times a week. i thought about trading it in and getting an econo car, but what is out there any fun that gets that much better milage to be convinceing? if V-8's can kick but economicaly, why settle for less?

Nice Mudstain I mean Mustang . That is a very nice looking car though. Automatics are the way to go if you live or work in any city. Plus with all of that power do you really need a stick? I always liked the 93 5.0 gt convertible.

A little off topic here but have any of you guys seen the new Honda Accord Hybrid? 255 horses plus 29 city/37 hwy. 0-60 in about 7 secs. Lots of nice new cars out from almost all car manufacturers except GM. I'm afraid my next car is not going to be a GM vehicle unless they come out with something incredible and affordable. Too bad I don't see that happening anytime in the near future. Anybody heard of any GM vehicles that will revolutionize GM? Something so incredible that people drool over them?
