98 Blazer, they are not that bad, the easiest way to do them is unbolt half the dash, take a rope and rope the dash to the outter roof rack (so it holds it away from the firewall) and crawl in and change the heater core.

Ended up running $944, $78 of which was taxes. Sucks to have to pay that much, but it needed to be done and I didn't have the time or resources at the time. So its all good. I've saved enough in the past... 7+ years by doing work myself that 1 mechanic bill isn't going to kill me.-Brad-

to change the spark plugs on a 98 blazer you do not have to drop the steering shaft... there is a tool that you buy and it goes around the shaft... i had to buy that tool when i did my moms blazer. too bad it was after i grinded down a socket to try and get it to fit.91\' Mazda miata.

We were going to do one on a 98 Blazer this past winter for Stephanie's dad. The heater core was $80 with discount at GM, I believe Autozone sells it for over $170!!
The job time was looked up too, it was 8 or 10 hours...i forget.1990 6000 SE AWD 3.1 "The Goose"
