  • Can anyone answer this for me?

Check out this link. Will these fit in a 92 convertible Cutlass Supreme?? I thought all Cutlass Supreme convertibles had rear bucket seats with the console in the middle. Could the back seat fit, or be made to fit...or were there convertibles that had a bench seat??? Thanks!

Some Convertibles had Cloth bench seats...they'll fit. Why would you want to get rid of the Buckets anyway?

Thanks. I'll tell the guy they'll fit.

I'm asking this for someone else. If I had rear buckets I'd definitely keep them. I wish I HAD rear buckets. Those leather seats are pretty nice in that link though.

rear buckets are overated. I have had both bench and buckets in my backseat. If some leather rear buckets land on me, I will not pass them up, but on my list of things to do, they are on the bottom.

Even if I put buckets in with the passthrough, it still would not be as good to me as having my FOLDDOWN rear seat. I have used the folddown a lot, and it is a hell of a lot better than the passthrough for the buckets.

Now a REGULAR rear bench, I do NOT like. But the FOLDDOWN rear bench is on the TOP of what I like.

          WELLLL.....

On the CONVERTIBLE, there is a crossmember behind the REAR SEATS. If you were to put the folddown rear seat in the convertible, then it would mostly be for looks. With that rear crossmember in there, as well as the bag where the top goes when it is down, then the folddown is pretty useless. That crossmember support is pretty big.

I wish I had the pass through rear seat. Mine's just the regular bench. I also like how the pass through rear seat has the slight headrests on it. Looks better IMO. I actually did just recently see a picture of a convertible Cutlass with the regular bench seat, and now I know why they didn't have the fold-down
