  • Mr. Gaskets Desktop Simulators

I noticed quite few know about the DD2K program, it seems fairly accurate as far the stock spec and power. can anyone verify it accuracy after mods?

Has anyone played with the Drag 2000 sim? It seems right on par with DD2K as far stock. It showed my car right now SHOULD be faster than stock, but it turnd out with a 9 sec 0-60 on the g-tech, 2 sec or so slower.
also showed that stroking a stock G1 2.8 would slow it down (!?), and stroking the 2.8 as it is now with a cam would only make it .02 sec faster in the 1/4. The current Gen2 motor i'm doing should put it at 15.2xx, supposedly. oddly, the G1 2.8 stroker +1mm and the 260 cam, 15.5xx.
    40hp difference.

    Aren't computers wonderfull?

It's pretty close but you need to enter all the correct data. It's a good tool to find out which "mods" work best... DD gave 535HP for my friends engine and he put out 525 at the dyno.
    1991 Corsica 3.1L, 3 speed 100% stock.
    1989 Mustang 5.0, 5 speed not so 100% stock.
I am Canadian eh? Quebec Canadian too...
