  • My newbie intro post

    Hey everyone,
I finally decided to join this forum to get a little more detailed info when needed. I've been around the w-body forum for a while now, and recognize a few over here from there. I don't usually post a whole lot, but will chime in when I can help. I've been around the 3.1 for a long time now ( That's why I own 2, cause their the only thing I like working on ) and I like to think I'm pretty educated on the motor.
Thanks to anyone who feels like responding
    -David

      Glad to have you!

I sometimes wonder (mainly because almost every new person brings it up) how many people actually read the site but never join. If everyone joined, we'd probably have at least twice as many users!!

Of course, I'm still pretty impressed with the 1500 or so that we currently have. For those of us that have been around for awhile, its pretty amazing to see how much this site has grown over the years. And it just seems to keep on going!! We are continuously adding new info to the site I'd say close to every day, and I know at least one or twice a week at the minimum. But the only way we can continue to grow is to get new faces and ideas on here.

So welcome, and spread the word.

A lot of people read the site but don't join the forum, which just means we have a lot of good info to answer questions without having to post Welcome to the site, im on w-body as well (and quite a few other sites for that matter).

Yes, welcome! I'm one of the oldsters of the group. (age wise) I almost quit building rods, till I bought the Cutty, and found this site. Lots of good info here. 'Cept no one has ever told me how to do a paragraph as of yet! (Anyone know how to put a Turbo on a walker?) BTW, I lived in Jct. City for 2 years.

Holy crap, I just noticed where you are from! I lived in Manhattan for 5 years up until December 30th of 2004. I'm actually heading up that way this weekend to take care of some business and visit my inlaws. If you've been there very long, I'm sure you've probably seen my car before. White Beretta with 17" 5-dual spoke rims, lowered slightly and plain (no gfx).

I've lived here for 4 years now. I don't recall ever seeing your car, I would probably remember seeing a nice Beretta. It's a small world after all!

Ok, yeah I think I remember seeing your car at one time or another. I usually notice them when they look very similar to mine.
