I know this is a car forum, but I wanted to share some good news.
I applied for this job almost 3 months ago figuring I might get an interview, and that'd be about it.
Well, after 2 interviews, the guy calls me Tuesday and offers me the job. After talking with the family, I decided to give it a shot.
For those that don't know (or never really gave a damn), I've been the manager of a "PartSource" store here in Canada for the past one and a half years. And I guess I still will be for another 2 weeks.
After that, I'll be a trainer for the corporation. Basically, I'll be travelling around Canada training store staff on proper procedures, and helping open new stores.
It's a cool opportunity for me for advancement, see some new places, and make a little more money.
And for those that don't know, PartSource is along the same type of store as Advanced Auto Parts, or Pep Boys.
Maybe if I'm lucky, I'll get to Manitoba and get to see the legendary V6HO!!
Oh, and while I'm at it, this is what I was doing last weekend.
