Got a new job.....again!?!

Hey guys,
I know this is a car forum, but I wanted to share some good news.
I applied for this job almost 3 months ago figuring I might get an interview, and that'd be about it.
Well, after 2 interviews, the guy calls me Tuesday and offers me the job. After talking with the family, I decided to give it a shot.

For those that don't know (or never really gave a damn), I've been the manager of a "PartSource" store here in Canada for the past one and a half years. And I guess I still will be for another 2 weeks.
After that, I'll be a trainer for the corporation. Basically, I'll be travelling around Canada training store staff on proper procedures, and helping open new stores.
It's a cool opportunity for me for advancement, see some new places, and make a little more money.

And for those that don't know, PartSource is along the same type of store as Advanced Auto Parts, or Pep Boys.

Maybe if I'm lucky, I'll get to Manitoba and get to see the legendary V6HO!!

Oh, and while I'm at it, this is what I was doing last weekend.

Glad to hear you actually got the job! Hopefully you won't have to be gone too long on your travels. The wife and kids might not enjoy that so much. Of course, then again, maybe they will! Hahha... just kidding.

Thanks guys! I just hope I can get to the next 60 degree meet honestly.
Well, I figured since the tranny has to come out anyways, it's easier to do these with the motor and trans out of the car in my previous experiences.
And while it's out, I figure the motor needs a freshen up too.
New bearings, windage tray, new timing chain, a little more head and valve work, gaskets, and I'm also rebuilding/redesigning the upper plenum for my intake.

What's wrong with the trans? Clutch shot? Get that thing together so you can bring it to the 60v6 meet!

Well, the clutch is shot, but second gear synchro is gone too. You should see the clutch. Not so pretty anymore.
It likely won't be on the road this year at all though, but depending on where the meet is, I may still be there.
I'm just gonna take my time with the car, not that I have alot of spare time.

The meet is going to be in south bend, indiana. Not too far from you:P I should be moved into the shop by next weekend, or at least the majority of my stuff will be in there. After that, I will have time to start setting everything up for the 5th annual meet.

I should be able to make it there. Likely won't have the Cavalier there though. It would either be a 3400 Venture, or 3800 Olds.
All depends when I can get holidays with the new job.
