Not a GP, but I bet I would still work... although not many people are willing to go as far as me.

Under the brake pedal? That's gotta be a first. What if you have wet shoes?

Modify your door panels. Build "Q-forms" for the front corners on the floor. You can find lots of info online on how to accomplish those, with fiberglass and such.

          RE: 6.5" Speakers

I've had the speakers there (there is a matching one on the other side) since sometime in 2001. And I have a mysterious leak from the engine bay (its a documented Beretta issue I've known about for like 8 years and still have yet to fix...) that has soaked/soiled the carpet in that area, and I haven't had any issues with it. There is actually a small cubby-hole in the uni-body in that spot which acts as a type of enclosure. The bass response from those is amazing (they are Dynaudio 7" midbass), and it really sets up an awesome soundstage, especially with the 4" and 1" mounted in the kickpanel.

So that gets covered by the carpet?

I have to say Brad you have the most unique stereo setup I have seen to date.

These new JBL power series will be in the back of my truck pretty soon. New hand made panels all covered in carpet. I covered my old sub box in matching carpet too.

However I have found a small water leak in my back window so I have to solve that issue first.
