Its tax time again.I just estimated mine and far fucking out. I get like a grand more back this year than last year! Any body else getting more back compared to last year? Of course maybe this is why GW Bush has a 500 billion dollar deficit too

I'll be lucky to get enough back to buy a cheap quart of oil. I did something stupid. Collected unemployment for 6 months, and didn't have taxes taken out. <me! Oh well..

well unless you make over 200k a year you won't be seeing any tax cuts from King George II. Unfortunately "playing" war is what is putting us in deficit along with the tax cut and using tax payer money to hire PR firms doesn't help.

Mine will be less for the simple fact that I made much less this year than last year. I cut my hours way down due to school. But lifeth learneth.

We are still trying to decide how to file, since we got married in March. We'll probably go with the married filing seperate option. But really not 100% sure as of right now. I'd like to see both ways to see which way gets us back the most money. Hopefully it'll be like normal, where she gets a shitload back claiming her daughter and I get a pretty decent amount back because I claimed 0.

Don't do the married filing seperate. It isn't the same as filing single. All it does is give you half of the married deduction, and her half, which is less then single. That's where the "marriage penalty" you might have heard of comes from. You can still claim her daughter if you do the married thing. If she makes alot less then you, she'll wind up paying in, and the same for you if you make alot less then her if you file seperate. Buy turbotax or something like that. It makes crunching the numbers easier, and you can try it both ways and see what you get.

yeah dont I wish.. Itll get new front tires and possibly new quarter windows, but thats all for now.

oh btw.. i sold the nissan this past weekend.. hated to see it go, but a dude from SC offered $1100 so i took it.

turbotax rocks.. it will show you the refund in realtime, and you can try it out diff ways to see which pays more (married, single, joint, sep.)

Aw, man. Probably wasn't a bad price to get for it though.

                          Household total 4890.

Next year will be more because I am taking the time to itemize and keep all receipts.

Well, we ended up getting just over $4500 back. All of which will be going towards the new house. Anyway, that was awhile back. Thought it was all said and done, but no...

I used TurboTax to do my taxes and then filled out the stuff for the $14.95 rebate. Figured why not... Well, checked my bank account just to see some transactions (and had forgot about the rebate). Well, not only did those motherfuckers from Intuit not send me a refund, they actually charged me TWICE for $14.95. So, as of right now, instead of getting $15 back, I'm out another $30.

Yeah, I've emailed them to see what the deal is, so hopefully this will get resolved soon. Even if I forgot to send the paperwork in to complete the refund (I know I did the online part, and I'm almost positive I mailed in the printed copy), there is no reason to charge me extra. I am anxiously waiting to hear their excuse for this bullshit!

rebates suck, im im waiting on like $40 for some computer crap.

i got back about 800 altogether between fed and state, all that went straight to my creditors of course, so i had it for about 24hrs.
