Car prices...

Well since my rearendage i've been car shopping again, and wtf is going on. I paid 2400 for my car, why the f*** are 1990 tempo's with 266,000kms going for 4995???
These are ALL the decent cars i could find, the rest were tempo's corsica's etc. I realise this is a bad time to buy, but seriously....
these prices are all in canadian so you can take away like 25% of them or so to get american prices.

I dont know if i could drive an auto/heavier version of this car but:

I can only assume that terry and stan are gay and are living togethor and that they want at least 10,000 + for this car because thats what they can get for it from some punk kid, they dont list the mileage and obviously its alot if its got a tranny and motor rebuild...

This i would buy if people understood what fully loaded means. Fully loaded does not mean V6 mustang in my interpretation, and thats obviously what this bad boy has, a mean v6 churning out 120 hp at the wheels. No thanks i had a Rustang.

I remember when i bought my first mustang (all of 2 years ago) a 1991 Mustang Cobra was 5000. Now apparently thats what 1991 civics go for. I'd buy a cobra if there were any for sale....
I guess im buying back my car no matter how much damage it has...

Anyone else noticing absolutely ridiculous prices for cars??? It seems as though they've doubled in value...

dunno wtf is up by you, but around here i can pick up anything for nothing. 93 grand marquis with 100k miles for $500 up the street. just missed a 93 caprice wagon for $250, he sold it the second the sunday paper was out.

I just found the place where they put the Police car in my town since they are off duties . I will go there tomorrow and make an offer for a 97 Crown Victoria for 500 $

Try one of those option . Often , Ex police car are a good deal !

Ya im located in Regina, (saskatchewan, canada)... a bunch of poor farmers who think their car is expensive cause its shiny. In order to buy a car from out of area, i need to saftey it. Which costs 250 bucks per inspection, and they make you fix absolutely everything, they go through it with a fine tooth comb. If one wire is loose or anything you have to fix it and bring it back, there can't be any rust (not a big deal, im not gonna buy a rusty car), and any exterior repairs have to be REDONE so they can see you did it properly.

I actually just found a car that i might sell everything in my possession and take out a 10,000 dollar loan for... 1995 Nissan Skyline GTR with extensive mods, in my color (the 'rare' midnight purple) 20,000cdn. +safety +specialty plates because its an "out of country car" (of course it's right hand drive)

realistically i wont get that car but i can dream.... Ya there are no cars that are "worth it" here, i got lucky with my Z... and he wanted 5000 for it, i talked him down to 2400.. sucker haha.. i made him think having a 5 speed was bad. (he was selling his dads car, his dad had moved to california)
