Post office inquiry

I ordered some parts off a member here about a month ago. I have a usps tracking number but that's it. Is there any way to check to see where my items are? I spent $55 on the center console and still have not received it yet. Any ideas? Thanks.

Do you have a tracking number, or a delivery confirmation number? If it's the latter, I'm almost positive they only scan that when it's dropped off at the Post office and when it's at your door. Call them up. If it is a tracking number, go to www.usps.com and click on the track & confirm link.

usps only offers tracking on certified mail i believe

All I have is a tracking number. It was sent priority mail and all they offer is a tracking number. It doesn't actually give you any other details about it. This really sucks too because I was willing to pay fedex prices but he was only going to charge me $10 for shipping. Damn usps!!!

hmm call the local post office to see if its held up there. If not call UPS or whoever's shipping it and ask them if theres anyway to find out whats going on, usually if you play dumb they'll do everything for you.

I too feel your shipping pains. Getting anything over the border seems to take at least 3 months. Some parts for my hottub were ordered LAST january and they got here yesterday, i was pumped that it would be my chip (this was at lunch before my rearendage) and then it was some hottub stuff that i forget we even ordered. My engine mount from FFP ended up taking about 4 or 5 weeks and he air mailed it, it should have taken 3 days (the post office informed me customs at the border were on strike). I just ordered a chip from Ben, he delivered it on the 13th, so lets see if the post office can impress me, or once again let me down :P . (im assuming they're off strike by now)
