  • Its all there

Every pushrod specification is up. Infact every 60* V6 engine specification is up. 3.6LVVT, 2.8L VVT and 3500 included.

PLEASE, PLEASE double check my work. There is alot of freaking numbers and I had to go through alot of papers. So make sure I didn't mix anything up. This only goes for the 1996 and older motors. Everything newer I just pulled off of GM's site.

    Enjoy!

      RE: Its all there

i noticed the 3.4 dohc section could be a little better. i personally don't know where to get the info but duration and lobe seperation would be nice. as well as the specs for the 3 generations of it. also i believe the cid to bo incorrect. 240? that is bigger than a 3.8(231)? i think you might have meant 204 no biggie.but on the rest good job. u da man.

I could only get the 1996 DOHC specifications. GM never lists lobe seperation or duration. The only reason the list the lift of a cam is so during a service period you can measure and see if it is worn. If you get me, Brad or Ben the information we can always add it.

You totally missed the color spectrum. What color should I paint my engine to make it go fast? :P Good job...

No, it isn't. It is 204 cid. Just like the puchrod 3.4L. 204.5 cid, if you want to get exact. Go run the numbers....you will see.

ya i've seen that before too, i've seen numbers between 204 and 209, maybe 207 is just the average :P. But in my serial thing under the hood it says 207 and thats what its known as... Just as the 427's aren't really 427ci...

                  That's becase everyone assumes it is a 3.4L (3400cc), when it only displaces 3350cc. 3400cc = 207 cid, but 3350cc = 204 cid.

My top end gasket set has on the cover "Top End gasket kit for 1991-1993 3.4L 207ci DOHC V6," so I was going off that, but I do realize that the assumption is that it is 3400cc.

is it not 3375cc or something like that??? But either way right now he has it as 240ci. And the compression is only 9.5:1 in the newer engines and manuals, 91-94? autos were 9.25:1...
