why wouldnt you bring a computer to the track??? most scantools require the use of a laptop. so MOST people, that are concerned with haveing a WBO2 would have the laptop already in the car.

just knowing your real O2's dosnt mean squat unless you can graph it against the rest of the power band like rpm, shift point, KR, timing, etc...

so most people arent just going to have a wbo2, most will be using it as a tool for tuning.

Payment would be direct to the company...I just have to get 20 people involved with a "yes, I am serious about getting this" and then send the list of people to the company. I am just organizing the names, not the money. I haven't checked my email, cause I am on dialup and just checking this board is slow enough compared to what I am used to.

No, you have to hook it up to a laptop to datalog.

We have 7 people at this time. Ok, how about we set a time to make this happen if we do have 20 people by that time? I am thinking the last week of january will give everyone time to decide and to save up if need be.

            The list so far

So does this let us change any variables or is it just a reader?... Don't kill me, the only experiance i have with something similiar to this is a Vtec controller that had all the same features +the vtec.
Im interested but im about 50% as to if i want it or not. at this time.

(if it says somewhere on their site im sorry, too many acronyms confused me)

Its only a controller to read the wide band O2 sensor, plus it can have inputs needed for datalogging so you can tune. It will not tune for you. With the LCD, you can monitor your fueling while you drive and see if you have a lean or rich area.

I already have this unit with the LCD display and absolutely love it. Wiring it up is a piece of cake and it works wonderfully. It was an excellent investment and has helped a ton with my turbo 3400 project.

You know I'd be in, but with starting a new job (even though I make more money) and hoping to buy a house in the next 6 months, I'm gonna have to hold off for now.

WBO2's are one of the best tuning tools you can invest in. The one on my S2000 has been invaluable to my tuning process(AEM WBO2 and AEM PnP ECU). I am interested in one for the Monte (I definitely need it), but I think it may have to wait a few months...
