I'd be in on a GP but the only WB02 I'm interested in is one from PLX devices as they're controllers have a NB output so that you can just completely replace the NB with the WB and not have to weld in another bung. It also makes it really nice for tuning other's cars because you can tune it with the WB and then just put the NB back in.

EDIT: I just saw the the zeitronix WB has a NB output too so I'd be in a GP as long as it has a NB output.

I was just looking over the page again and I noticed that, but thanks for pointing it out.

Also, I'm sure some L36/L67 guys over at ClubGP would get in on a WB GP so that's always an option.

I have sent an email off to get the information on this group purchase and to verify that we can set this up. I also asked how they want us to organize it, and once we get rollin on this I am hoping that those getting the LCD can have a special 60V6 design for the boot up (for those that would want it). The galant VR-4 guys got that special treatment as part of the group purchase at no cost.

I have also sent them a link to this thread, so I am hoping they can either join and reply, or see the questions and send me the answers direct.

Once I hear back, I will share everything I learn. I will also try to get some other sites involved on this

I just emailed them about that... to see if they are willing to host the GP for us, or not.

Please send us a list of participants and an order configuration. Prices
will be similar to VR-4 or Porsche GBs.

Once the list is received we will make a GB web page. When the number of
participants is determined we will set 10 or 20 units pricing and open the
GB for payments. We will post received payments daily. Once we reach 10 (or
                    20) payments we will ship the units.

So this means we have to get the list of participants to them, and then everyone pays them. I am shooting for 20 people.

I am 100% in on this. Please email me at sappyse107@60degreev6.com with a title of "WBO2 Group Buy" with your name if you are 100%. Not 99.5%, not "I have the money now but may not later" or anything like that. I will create a list as well once we have 10 people, and go from there. I will be out of town quite a bit till jan 3rd so expect a better list/setup for this group buy around that time.

if the payments are made directly to the company i am "in", depending on when the payment setup is made.

for example, if payment is due tomorrow, no i am not in.

if payment can be made till the end of january, then i am in.

i will post this info on a few other sites i know of...

The main problem I had when looking into the ZT2 was the requirement to have your laptop hooked up to be able to data log. While some people don't think this is important, I personally don't keep my laptop in the car when I go to the track, but this is exactly when I want to have data logging capabilities.

As far as price, in mid November, Arlee from the GP forum had LM1s for $280 for sensor, $345 sensor with RPM cable and an inductive clamp for $16 more. With the LM1, the box (can't think of proper word right now) is what stores the data logging and no laptop is required. The RPM cable allows the system to be capable of recording up to 5 different channels for RPM, MAP, MAF...or whatever you want to data log.

While I do not personally know anyone with the ZT2, I do know several people with the LM1 and all are satisfied.

Really not trying to step on any toes, just want factual information out there. A WBO2 sensor is an invaluable tool, without which it is virtually impossible to achieve a decent air/fuel mixture. I am glad to see any response at all on this forum to a WBO2. Any tuning without one is simply shooting in the dark hoping to hit not one bull?s eye?but trying to hit a bull?s eye for every spot on the RPM scale for every load...not very likely.

                              Galen

Oh yea, if anyone wanted to contact Arlee regarding if he is still offering the LM1 at that price, here is his info:
