  • Wideband group purchase?

Just got off the email with Zeitronix... they are willing to set up a group buy in on the Wideband O2 sensors for us... wondering if there is any real interest in something like this?

    We'd need 10-20 people buying...

    I know I'd be one!!

    RE: Wideband group purchase?

is it just a sensor, or a controller as well? Need some details, including a price per group size.

Before I jump in, I need one that datalogs instead of working with an aftermarket computer.

The bundle comes with the O2 sensor, datalogging via laptop, and controller. That would be around $240

The bundle with the LCD - around $350ish... depends on how many people we get interested!

What is the LCD and what does it do?

I'd be interested, but I want to look around for better and or cheaper first. Count me in for now.

            Cheaper, you won't find... http://www.zeitronix.com/order/order.htm

The next cheapest I've found, is the LM-1 - http://store.summitracing.com/partde...h&Ntt=wideband

            and the AEM WBO2 - http://store.summitracing.com/partde...h&Ntt=wideband

We should be able to get the ZT-2 for about $40 off MSRP - or about $240 - $110 less than the LM1

I've never heard of a LCD before, what is it and what does it do? I posted this over at W-body and Fiero.nl as well.

                Liquid Crystal Display =

Look here to see what it does -

                That 'screen' is the LCD.

Yes, you can be fast without the A-pillar gauges.
                  HAHAHAHAHA!!!

Looks pretty cool, how much do each of the options add(specifically EGT?)

You can get WBO2 setups from Tech-Edge for about that same price. Maybe alittle more... There is also another one I can't think of off the top of my head right now that is comparable as well, but has the option for wireless datalogging of up to 6 inputs.

The Tech Edge one comes out to $459, and the plx one is $299 + s/h.

If we can get set up into this GP, then we can get a full WBO2 for $240!

looks like it'd save me some money with dyno time assuming I can find a nice long stretch of road, if I can come up with the money I'd go for one, but I'm kind of broke right now so don't put me down yet

Even tho there only selling with the stuff to make it an A/F gauge, but that's great.

Ok, I may be in on this (most likely after reading 1 review...im still reading up on this). I guess other forums have had sucess with their group purchase setups. The galant VR-4 group purchase went like this.

looks like we need 20 orders to have them 240 each. If I know anything, its going to be a real chore to do this. We will need to organize every 60V6 related site to get this going strong. Ill post it on the main site, and I suggest others post on other boards they may visit. I have no problem with this site being the central hub for this if doward wants to go that route. The company may setup a page for us as well, and make a special boot screen for the LCD purchasers as well.

Here is a review from a honda owner.

The Thirdgen.org group buy (which I missed - hence, why I'm trying to generate interest!) had 28 people buy into it. I'm going to be posting this on every single 60º V6 related site I can think of.

I'd like to get this all together, as a 60º Group Purchase.
