Our club is going to add a project car class for our car show and we'd like input. When we changed the modded classes before we had a hell of a time deciding on the rules/criteria for those classes so I thought it might be a good idea to get input from others that we can consider.
Our show is 'in honor of the daily driven Fiero' and is broken up into mileage classifications so all the stock cars are put agianst cars of equal mileage. We also have several modded classes and all the classes are participant judged except the occasional special class we might add with judges from other clubs. Thought i'd give a little background on the show there so you knew some of the rules already present and there would be no confusion about judging problems with this new project class.
We want to be as fair as possible but we don't want some nicer cars getting into this class just to get a quick trophy. That annoys the guys who really belong in that class and it should since it's not fair.
So, what in your opinion makes a project car?
Any opinions are welcome even if it's been said before. We will be using the responses to help us decide the rules/criteria for this class so even multiple opinions agreeing on a certain criteria would certainly help.
