That's right, its time for me to move! I have FINALLY (after 5 years and 150 credits) graduated from college. I'm just glad I did it before I turned 30. Granted, I only made it by 5 months, but at least I made it. Anyway, on to the move...
I was starting to get worried this last month or so when all I kept getting was rejection letters from companies. I did get an acceptance letter, but the company was in Cali, and I don't know too many people that actually WANT to move to California. So I kept looking. Got a call last Thursday to interview with a company I had sent a resume to the Friday after Thanksgiving. So I drove down to Arkansas on Monday, interviewed that afternoon and drove back Tuesday morning. Got a call Tuesday afternoon with a job offer, and accepted it this afternoon. Woohoo! So I am now an official Electrical Systems Designer for an Architectural and Engineering consulting firm. Yay for me!
What does this mean for everyone? I dunno... I'm still in the midwest, so I should be able to still make it to the meets (maybe not this year though). But with the move, I may be offline for awhile. Hopefully only while I'm moving, but it depends on highspeed access and cost in the apartment (which we have yet to find) that I will be living in for the first few months.
I think that's it. Just felt like posting....
