Since this is both DOHC and Pushrod engine pics, I'll post in here.
Took some pics of both a G6 3500 engine. and a new SV6 (what was the Montana van) 3500. -which by the way as you will see in the pics uses a P/S pump. and also uses the normal old style X-over pipe manifolds feeding into each other setup. where as the G6/Malibu's as we've seen before uses the Dual setup where the front and rear are split and just "Y" together in the exhaust pipe.
the pics of the G6 were taken just to show more clearly how the belt routes for the Lack of P/S with the Electronic assisted Steering Column setup.
The pics of the 3.6L VVT engine is from a new Buick Allure, Or as you 'Merican folks know it the LaCrosse. In Canadier GM Canada had to change the Name of the Lacross, as in fucking Quebec (where 80% or whatever of French speaking canadian citizens live) "LaCrosse" is a Slang/swear word for a sexual act.. so not to offend people GM changed the name to Allure..
as you can see here, GM USA: http://www.buick.com/lacrosse/
GM Canada: http://www.gmcanada.com/english/vehi.../buick/allure/
what i found odd on the 3.6L is that it has the front manifold cutting across in a xover style, then the rear one joining and then theyloop all stupid and exit.. ? im not sure what the hell the story is here...
I have a GM service manual Pic of it in the folder as well so you can see.
