whats your favorite metallica album or song

Most of the early 90's stuff. Unforgiven, Entersandman, etc. Oh, and Whisky in a Jar wasn't too bad, but it is the only song I don't mind from their new stuff. But it was lacking the hard Metallica style.

used to be all into them back when i was a kid, then i got all into punk rock and dont really ever listen to them much anymore.. But i would have to say Master of Puppets would get my vote.

Agreed. I liked the St. Anger song, but that was it. But I am definately a fan of the older stuff... pre-short hair.

yeah when they cut there hair they changed vh1 had one of those shows i think it was awesomely bad metal moment and one of the top 10 was when they cut there hair. when they came out with load they started sucking.

the sound of them seamed to change when load came out and thereafter its not the metallica i remember. ok i didnt mean sucked its just there not the same

Those are some of the favorites, i dont think there is a pre-st.anger album i don't like.

St. Anger = shit
56 and 3rd or w/e, is like old school punk and i dont think its meant as a joke, that made me lose respect for metallica, then i put in the black album and the respect came back.
