passkey II system question

Hey all, will the passkey system currently installed in my z34 work with the new computer I'm installing or will I have to get the system from the original donor car (ignition, key, passkey module) to match so the car works doesn't shut off? I hope not... that could be a problem..

Start at the beginning..

You're installing a new (to you) PCM?

From what I can understand of your post is that you are just swapping out the PCM, you should have no troubles, as the Passlok (Sometimes refered to as Passkey), comunicates with the cluster and/or BCM which then sends a generic signal to the PCM, to enable the fuel circuits.
