Just dont make it any farther east than KY... i dont think i can make another trip like last year. Why dont we have it where someone lives so we can actually have somethiung planned. I think we should get a place and date picked soon so those of us with jobs can ask for it off. I cant do the end of May like last yeat since I will be graduating. Later in the summer would give ppl more time to get ready. too.

If it's near Charlotte, the dragstrip we'll likely go to will be very low. (Rockingham!!!)

Definetly not may, im thinking more like august, or late july.

We did canada last year, that is why its not on the option list this year Besides, most of the canadians who were supposed to show up didn't.

Im fine with NC, but thats going to turn away a few people who aren't near the east coast. It would be like having it in AZ to the majority on this board. If Indiana is seriously that exciting to people....I can hook it up. I bet we can rent the track in oceola...or get something going in indy. There are museums, a sweet go kart indoor track, the indy 500 museum... So indiana isn't that bad.

The other option is to setup 2 meets for 2004, one east coast, and one west coast or middle of the US.

Hook it up then. The east coast is just too damn far.

I like the idea of it in late summer w/one east coast and west coast. But my vote goes to bowling green, or NC.

we will have to vote of course. The old plan was to do NC this year and kansas next year...but that was before we had any interest further west than kansas to start with. Ok, list possible places in this thread, and ill start a poll. Need reasons for each place. I got indiana covered.

I think Indy would be a good place... if anything, we could at least set up a tour of the track! And it is pretty central for many people. But Bowling Green was nice the first year, and it can be cheap if people decent to camp out again.

                        Here's my ideas.

                        1. Eastern Tenn/Western NC. I believe there's a quarter mile dragstrip at Bristol, plus the mountains are just damn cool. The Blue Ridge Parkway is a must drive for visitors to the area. Addco is in Linville, NC. Might get a tour of the facilities or something.

                        2. Charlotte, NC. NASCAR central! Rockingham dragway is maybe an hour away? Low altitude, good track from what I've heard. Also home of the 60v6 sanctuary. (aka Chris's garage)

I like the idea of camping out, I love camping. Bowling Green sounds good then. Indy is a good place too, race at IRP then tour the track. But its leaning toward the W-body meet being in Indy, so I would like to see the 60* meet at Bowling green

Hey I second California! The only problem is in my entire life I've only seen 4 other Z34's here people have bad taste in cars. But maybe something in the S.F. bay area for the West Coast 60v6 meet. I know I'd be down. But anything within about 300 miles of the San Francisco bay area would be cool with me.
