Maybe you'll be even more scared when he gets re-elected tomorrow. Personally, I'm more scared of have Kerry around for the next four years. But, if he does win, I hope he really fucks everything up and everyone that thinks Bush is so bad wishes they would have kept him in office.
If everything works out right, Kerry will get elected, terrorists will blow up more buildings, and people like me in the construction industry will have plenty of work for the next couple decades.-Brad-

Well Bush really hasent done anything to stop terrorists. He has just created a war and made everone more mad so they will have more reason to attack. They blow up buildings, you make big holes all over their country, they strike next and do what? If this next president is not careful he may get more he barganed for.
From what I am seeing in the media (yea I know not the best source) this fight against terrorism has shifted for a war on oil interests. Your country is under more threat than it has ever been in its whole history. I think a president with brains is better.1993 EXT. CAB, 3.4L V6 TBI, 5spd manual. Sonoma

I don't give a fly about that. Bush all the way. He has more back than Kerry. Heck he even has his dads advisers. People may not like what he has done..but even the old vets think he is the right president. Kerry is just not the right president for the Time.88 Beretta GTU turbo . 90 Black ASC/McLaren TGP, awaiting 4t80. 2003 Grand AM se 3400/4t45 daily grind.

It should at least be accepted that some companies are making big bank off this war. The connection between the vice president and those companies is definitely a bit of a coincidence. I don't know if one was a benefit of the other, or if it was plotted. I don't think anyone can, but its what you believe I suppose that makes you vote.
Brad, i have read so many of your posts and not commented.

Wow. Just wow man, thats amazing. Maybe I was insane about the L67 for a while but that is some serious disgust right there! Is it not possible for someone else to do a better job than bush? If you can show me any history on kerry being president, I would love to see it.

Now I don't know who you are voting for, scary.Ben

My votes going for Kerry ONLY because I believe there is a better chance of Kerry raising the minimum wage than Bush. And before anyone tries to argue that a higher min wage fucks up the economy I have this to say to you: You are out of touch with the real world. Try telling that to a one income family(they do exist) making min wage and feeding a couple of kids. Hell I have lived through several min wage increases and really didnt notice the promissed immediate price increases. That vid was pretty true. Along with not being able to give a proper public speech Bush cannot talk for himself publically. Everything seems scripted. And if you dont believe that watch the video.2004 Grand Am GT 3400 ... Sadly, I could really care less who wins. Yes, I am for Bush, but the government is so corrupt, it really doesn't matter anyway. We the people don't really get to decide who goes into office anyway. The good old electoral college gets to pick. You may say that the electoral college follows the voice of the people, but it really doesn't. There are only 26 states that require the electoral college to vote the way of the popular vote. There are a few states that actually can split electoral votes between candidates. So that leaves us with about 20 states where the electoral college can basically just decide who they want regardless of the popular vote. And this is fair? Yet people don't want to get rid of the electoral college because then people could be "bought out" to vote for a candidate. Ahh... good old Democracy.
I'm just going to continue my 11 year tradition of not voting and just going with the flow.-Brad-

And to add to my discussion about the electoral college, it now looks like the court system will once again decide who the winner is, not the American people. So, just like 4 years ago, I doubt that we'll see a true winner until sometime in December at the earliest.
But I guess we can just wait a few more hours until the results start to come in and go from there.-Brad-

Standard of living is up for a record amount in the last decade then the last decade, and still no increase in wages.
Base line income has no effect on standards for living, this great nation goes to show that the rich want that line moving up and never like to see it going straight or down in the red even though the pillow for such degradation is there in most of the top 1000 companies. So why would they want to lose 1 million over last months revenue?? if the monthly income base for such a company is 5-8 mill a month, it boggles me why these companies take all the profits and dwindle pennies to the poor, so asking for a wage to start at 6.50 is not much of a expense since most companies are cheap on benefits anymore, if even at all with that kind of starting wage.
40 hours at 5.25=210 a week 40 hours at 6.50=260...That only a 50 dollar offset at the base line. a 50 dollar a week period raise for a person making 500 dollars in that week is less than a 1 percent raise. The base line in the upper income bracket will not see much at all thus not really affecting overall standard of living or inflation. Who said that if they increased minimum wage that every bracket will reflect the same percent wise raise??That can not happen, the ratio would be 1 to 4.
The word that were floating around on 9-11 was supposed to ring true and stick with people, we are all in this world together and together we will all go with it no matter what, but infact the rich have closed their pocket book tighter, causing a brainwashed ressesion that no one want to talk about.
Where would all this be if the world ended tommorow, would all the money make it better after that, how about any creature comfort be if it all disappeared. How would it be, that is fear. Nothing can stay the same forever, and change will happen.I am back

I guess I didn't say exactly what I meant. I didn't mean that it would be directly proportional percentage wise, and especially not in the upper classes, but people that are a little above the low wages don't want to be pressed down to the bottom, so they would want more too. Basically minimum wage is minimum wage, it is at the bottom. Raise it any amount and it is still the lowest pay. It will just increase the amount of money that businesses have to pay in wages, therefore increasing the end user cost of products. You can't expect a business to just absorb that extra cost. Of course I'm just a big fuckin moron, so don't pay any attention to me.1994 Grand Prix GTP Special Edition
