    it's a bit of a loaded testing procedure tho, beacuse they will take oil near the end of it's life, run it on the dyno, then put their stuff in, I've seen 4 - 8hp gains on engines from just an oil change with conventional oil.

      If I can recall correctly royal purple didn't score that high in the engine oil bible.

        actually royal purple is right up there in the same category as mobil 1 and amsoil

          Yeah, but I mean there is better stuff out there. All the synthetics regularily available are pretty middle-of-the-road. But form the sounds of it royal purple has a higher cost than mobil 1, etc.

            well yeah im sure theres always something better
            and yes royal purple is a bit more expensive than mobile 1
            it used to be twice the price
