im gonna guess that will go into the gto and mabey the corvette.

its deffinitly different, carbon fiber syncros and planetary gears. i wonder how strong it will be.

Lol... I don't know, since the news snippet that was discussed in the thread no longer exists. I've seen the PDF before, but that might have been when I was browsing the GM Media site. I thought it was on here, but perhaps not. I'll have to see if I can get some more info on the heads, such as a proposed date of when they will start being used (unless it says it in the PDF... I didn't read it).

i havea pic of the 3valve V8 head (no rocker cover) on my computer at home...

Notice on the 6spd manual page, it talks about sharing compatability with the new 6spd automatic.. i think this is the new Auto that Ford and GM are working on together.
