in the process of messing with the old desktop dyno i believe i may have isolated some cam specs with all other variables being given for the folowing motors
i though maybe others might be doing the samething so i thought i would share my finding to perhaps get confimation on some or all of the cam specs or atleast to see if others agree upon the ones that i think may be right
2.3 w40 ho quad
bore stroke
3.62 x 3.35 i did notice that the program had these reversed
4 valve ported head
valves 1.44 1.22
compression 10:1
354 cfm sfi manifold
small tube headers with mufflers
hp cam hyd lifters
seat to seat timing
lift .375 .375
ivo 42 ivc 82
evo 75 evc 17
this yeilded about 175hp@6200 and 155ftlbs@5200
i tried to get it up a little bit in the hp between the 6000 to 6500 range but could not do so without changing the peak torque number and rpm
ive got a few others that i tried to duplicat as close as possible ill post them too if anyone shows interest
