DON'T buy from a guy named repomitchel on ebay. when i won a bid for a 1994 ford ranger he had no feedback. we got together and i gave him a deposti on the trunk. since then i've called him and called him and i have no truck. since i won my auction he has had three people leave negative feedback(including me). this guy isn't even gonna give me my money back. he says that i'm gonna have to take him to small claims court to get the rest of my money that i paid him. to make a long story short if you ever run across anything for sale by this guy don't buy it! no matter how much you want it.

Get a lawyer to write this guy a letter. It costs a little bit of money, but not as much as losing a day's pay to take him to court. Report him to eBay, even though it won't do much.

Don't forget when you sue him to smack him for court costs. Sending out summons cost money too! A lot might I add. (you have to get the return green card to show you have PROOF of a summons)

It isn't totally necessary to get a lawyer because you CAN do this all yourself, and in the end you might not get anything out of it with a lawyer. My claim was for $220+costs, and definitely didn't need a lawyer. And plus my guy was local. With a guy that is far away, he'll probably not show and you'll get default judgement.

Good luck with your choices, and be sure to get his ass.

Just said about the lawyer because a letter is usually all it takes to get someone to pay up, and if the guy lives far away, you have to file a claim against him in the county/court jurisdiction where he lives. And yes, you can get court costs, but not lost wages. And I did a search for repomitchel and nothing comes up.
