I really hate it when alot of little things add up and piss me off. A few of my recent rants are: Snail mail living up to it's name when I mailed a money order off for a few Ebay purchases. People selling things on ebay, taking half a week to ship things, not giving me a tracking number, then the few that do give a USPS tracking number, all it says is "USPS notified by customer to expect a parcel on August 31" or some shit like that, but every day tells me nothing more then that. Ok, more car related rants: Old people (not in general, but really old people, the ones that you wish would sell the 69 Camaro SS in their garage cheap because it was only used to get groceries 15 times, old). Man, how can I summerize this one without taking up alot of space on the server. I turn on to a two lane road this morning, get into the right lane, and assume going around a car that is hogging the left lane doing 30/45. Then said car starts to cut over, not paying any attention that I am on the road without using their turn signals. Wow, how hard is it to turn your head about 15-45* to look in your side mirror. On the same note, how hard is it to move your hand that should be on the 10 o'clock position on the wheel forward about 2 inches and activate your turn signal signalling to every other driver on the road that you are about to change lanes? It's funny. Most people in this area fail to meet the above rants. I do these same things out of courtisy every time I plan on leaving my lane. Not because I have no license, but because this is the way I was tought to drive, and think that it is only right to warn people before moving into their projected path of traffic. Here is another pet peave of mine. Drivers talking on cell phones. Wow, this one is a huge hit anymore. All of the people that I see on a phone every day stuns me. Makes me wonder when they are going to put phone like devices in peoples heads so they have both arms free to drive again! Oh, wait, both arms aren't necessary to come into my lane, are they Mrs.BigshitonthephoneinherMercedesSUV? Just as I thought. Of course not. Know what else pisses me off? Switching to Mobil 1 10w30 to quiet down my lifters in the 92 so it doesn't sound like 100 soldiers under my hood when I come to a stop. Know what pisses me off more then that? When after 2 weeks or so the ticking returns. Oh yeah, I got laid off and spent my last $7 of 9 on some beer, but I'm not bitter, lol. So what pisses you guys off?

I was responding, but, I got a call. And my makeup is really bad. And that dude just..............................SHITTTTT! Now I gotta figure out how to blame him. HEY GUY!! I drive too! Figure out which way I am going! (scuse me, I got another call), Officer! I was turning left! He should have known that! (scuse me, another call). Hey Officer! You are pretty cute! (Scuse me). "You like my hair? It's blonde. Well, most of it." No offence to old people, BUT!, Need to take a physical driving test every year after 60. There are things that screw up reality here! I have old relatives. None can drive in todays world. My Mother, And I love her, has never driven. She is 89.If you are driving a Chevy, everything else, is just a blur. 3.4 Carbon Footprint.

I didn't mean all old people. My grandma on my moms side is about 82 IIRC, and she doesn't drive probably because of people like me (her excuse is all the crazy drivers on the road). My grampa has only had 2 accidents that I know of. A chick pulling out in front of him, and a deer running out in front of him in that 63 Catalina I refered to in another post (he hit it doing 50, and only pushed the metal that holds the grill in about 1/2". Man did they know how to build a car back then!). They are both on my mothers side. My grandma on my dads side has almost as much of a lead foot as I do. My grandpa is fortunate enough to have a good head on his shoulders when it comes to driving, lol. In my family, all of the people over 60 are just fine to drive without a driving test every year. Unfortunately, I can't say that for most of the elderly in the area that I live in. Just ask Ben. They made him late enough that we missed the original plane that I got tickets for when we were heading down to Texas to pick up the 92! Like I was tought in truck driving school, 75% (could be higher, it has been a while) of accidents are due to in-attention aka lack of paying attention.
BTW, you are a funny guy, lol. Makes me wish you would have made it out to the meet, even though you would have been the oldest, we still would have had a blast with our small group of people, lol.-60v6's 2nd Jon M.

i almost lost my caddy today to an old guy in a cavalier. i was coming to an intersection where ive got the green light and 45mph, the guy in front of me was turning so when he was into his turn(and i was coming up going 45), said cavalier decides to pull out in front of my boat. i locked up all 4 and almost hit him, and had i hit him it woulda been my fault for hitting him in the back
