someone told me to put some airplane gas in my tank to boost the octane now i know airplane gas is leaded right? just for curious wut would it ruin? oxygen sensor? cat conv? valves? i dont mean a full tank of it either just a gallon or 2. i put air plane gas in my escort like 11 yrs ago but i dont know if i was harming it or not?? lol any opinions..

a bit likely wont hurt. if you run it on a steady diet of it, its going to deffinitly foul the o2 sensor, cat, harm the valves and seats, leave deposits on the pistons, ect.
but why??? if you want to boost octane, throw in some 104 octane boost, or just run premium gas. besides, there is no point in running high octane unless you have very high compression.
