bye bye.

Hey I am in my first week of school. I am a Freshman at Oklahoma State University and I am loving it. There are so many girls, and they are all hot. Well most. My major is Fire Protection with a side of mechanical engineering. Right now me and some other guys are building a tuned equal length header on our Hayabusa powered go kart. The cart registered at 296lbs, full with all fluids including gas and minus the driver. They custom built the entire frame/shifter/pedals/engine mounts. So we are doing the header now and the intake mani soon. It's a lot of fun even tho I'm not much help yet cuz my welding sucks....

Since I do not YET have a computer in my room, I will be leaving here for a while. I will check on occasion. However I am still collecting parts for my ITB intake and still want my 60* sticker that I ordered 2 months ago These just go to my house and sit in my garage. The Lumi has a fresh 5 qts of Mobil 1, a very close to emtpy gas tank, and a new unhooked redtop battery. So it is sleeping for a lil while. Thx for all the help!

You should get a laptop, easy to move around and useful for tuning the car Have fun in college, and remember to respect the keg.

busa powered go cart?? is it the school's formula racing team.. if so rock on , i was on my school's team for 2 years .. (then got pissed at the 3 top guys.. long story)

Well Aaron, while you are at school, learning and stuff, I will be here working my ass off to raise unappreciative grandkids, serving a wife that is the nags nag, and putting up with the bullshit of everyday life! As for a comp, a PC is a lot cheaper plus I can build it.

Yes it is for the schools formula1 team. SO far we are going all N/A, but in the future we may turbocharge it....

make sure that you guys research the turbo route... our car was turboed, however the gains by the additional power were more of a problem for tuning and driving the car.... i know 2 years ago there were only 1 or 2 cars that werent NA, and they didnt do too well

(BTW in the design we got like 52nd (not bad considering we are the black sheep in the state of illinois(and we kicked the shit outta U of I ))... but it rained before we could do the endurance... so we got screwed outta a shit load of points)

We will now have 2 carts, one in the under 1350cc class, this is our busa powered N/A beast, and the other will be entered in the under 610cc class. SO far it is also N/A, but I'd love to see it with a turbo....
