  • Painted my S-10 to match my Turbo Buick

    Hello,

It's almost been a year in the making, but I finally finished the repair of my 1991 S-10 2.8L. Long story short, I got hit in the side, replaced lots of parts, and this summer painted it at home. The kicker is I painted it to match my 1986 WH1 Designer Series Buick Regal T-Type. While I haven't got a good picture of the two of them together, you can see the truck and all the small projects that went into it at http://members.aol.com/great88fiero/s10/index.html

I usually don't just post useless crap, but I spent a lot of time on this thing so I figured I show it off some...and it has a 2.8L to boot.

The wheels don't look exactly the same, get that done and it will look that much cooler. Sweet Caprice, by the way!

Looks sharp! Now you need to turbo the S10.

Didn't I see the report about this accident on S-series a while back? Hmm well at least it looked sweet in the end. Having downtime is good. It means you can mod

Yea the first one which had one reply and then the latest which has been a lot of fun http://forums.s-series.org/viewtopic...444&highlight=

Lately I inquired about converting my 2.8L to a 4.3L but it appears my T5 isn't compatible with the 4.3L...and I don't want to go to the auto transmission that's on the 4.3L. I am keeping my eyes open for a 84-85 non intercooled turbo regal. They're pretty cheap and most of the bodies are gone, so it would make a good drivetrain car. I could live with an auto if paired with a turbo 3.8.
