Why the fuck is it that my school's dorms are forcing us to go wireless, even in desktops. This is bullshit. Only Win2k, XP, and Mac OS X 10.3 (or whatever the fuck) are supported. And the ethernet jacks no longer function. Internet and networking is wireless only. WHAT THE FUCK. Is it because the stupid fuckers let the fucking blaster worm mutilate the network last year? Ignorant dumbasses. Plus they say they need your computer, are going to update your computer themselves, configure your wireless network card, install norton and scan you, and this may take 1 to several days.

Fucking morons. Good thing my computer and wireless card found the network and configured themselves last night, so I'm online without the Nazi housing procedures.

Wireless owns though. I will say that wireless on a desktop is retarded. I love my wireless laptop, but I dont see the point in wireless with a desktop. And, forcing you to go to that is very dumb.

Yes, of course. I'm going to lug my desktop outside to a bench or to class with me. But I'm not sure I'm liking this wireless. Last year I had download speeds of several MB (megabytes, not bits) per SECOND. Yes, I could go to some places and download a 100mb file in 20 seconds. This year it's barely a T1 speed with the wireless Oh well

After I get a house and stuff after grad school, I'll just live out in the country a little and not have insurance on cars ever again. Its such a waste of money. i feel your pain on the insurance thing. i own a 2003 blazer with $350 payment. not to pricy right. well my car insurance is $417 a month. now how rediculous is that. if you total it up that truck cost me $9204 dollars a year. that almost 1/4 of what i make a year. it's no wonder nobody wants to buy new cars.
