ok im missing what the whole hatred for l67 is. (sorry if i sound new, i dont pay attention to 90 degree v6s) and what is an l67 anyways??? is it a 3800 series 2 by chance???

could someone explain the whole l67 thing to me.

I think the L67 is the 3800 series II supercharged. I'm not sure what's up with the whole being on fire thing. I make fun of fiero people and tell them that their car is going to catch on fire, even though fiero folks usually do the most hard core engine swaps and cool projects.

I got a 3.4 DOHC and comparing the two engines - fuq the L67.

L67 is the engine code for the 3800 Supercharged V6.. Series I and II.. III got a different code..

i'm missing why that every time someone posts something(there was no hatred of the L67 posted in the 2 posts above yours) about the L67 burning, why someone needs to ask this question. over and over and over again. who cares? we like what we like and that is why we're on 60degreev6.com and have our 2.8, 3.1, 3.4, 3x00, etc... instead of a boat anchor that needs boost to get it moving.

hahahaha! Yeah, its nothing personal (unless you make it personal...thinking of some clubgp members right now). One of the guys over there had their car catch on fire...and I didnt laugh or say anything negative to him. Its just a fact that the L67 catches on fire for whatever reason. Personally I think its gods way of saying "blam that piece of shit" but what do I know?
