Yeah, I was thinking it would also get some of both worlds too, v and inline. I didn't know it only had one head though.

Does it have a balance shaft there? Right where the green chain shares the sprocket with the orange one.

I can't tell. I always thought balance shafts were down in the engine by the crank though. I just noticed, it has a distributor, ew... lol.

Yeah, but I think I can live with our alternator where it's at since Ben can change my spark timing curve all day long as it needs. This thing is, well, stuck with what it has. I like my DIS, lol.

I like the R32. I wouldn't want one over my GTP but as a little Daily Driver it would be nice. Rather have the VW GTI thatscoming out though. 200HP of Turbocharged 2.0L power and its just as small as my little Laser. Plus it comes in a 6speed manual. Now that would make a great daily driver. Not a good trip car or something I would want to mod and fix up, but as a point A to B car it would certainly make those trips alittle more fun.

The R32's specs look good, but that engine bay looks Crammed and you can't see the Alternator like Aaron said. You can't anything at all except the engine cover and a Intake manifold. Maybe with the Engine cover off you can, but from the look of it I seriously doubt that. You have be double jointed to work on our cars without taking the engine out, I doubt even Inpector gadget could work on that car. Its a mechanics dream come true, well atleas to their wallet. Thats just what it looks like under the hood.

Over $12K invested, and still its slow. Maybe thats because thats most all repairs. Don\'t knock the engine though, because thats the only part that has seemed to last.
