pocket-rocket (jon) and myself (also jon) looking at something in Brad's trunk. Notice my snazzy 60v6 shirt.

Ben messing with chips, showing off his shirt

GPSE3200 (Lorenzo) at left, me in the black tshirt, Ben still wearing his 60v6 shirt. And in front of me is the log that wouldn't quit burning. :P

Lorenzo over by his car, the other Jon showing me something on his camera, and some random person bicycling by.

A critter! We also saw an albino squirrel, but something happened and now there's no pics of it.

Here's where we need to have the meet next year. :P Gatlinburg, TN, viewed from US441 as it climbs over the Great Smoky Mtns Nat'l Park.

That is a good idea. I just got back from there 3 weeks ago and that aquarium is fucking awesome. Plus theres go cart racing out the ass. And if you are into scenic stuff this place is for you.

If it is there next year, ill be there for sure regardless of what happens at home, since its only 4-5 hours away and I know my wife would go with me.

Jon and I were talking about it while we drove through Pigeon Forge looking at all the stuff they had to do (If you were there a week, you still couldnt do everything there) , plus there is a dragstrip kinda closeby in Bristol (NE TN)
        I modify stuff

Yeah, the Savage almost took my foot off till I hopped up on the hood of my car, bastard, lol. Here are a few of my favorite pics of the lot I took.

1st is Chris trying to french a bug, lol. Second is Lorenzo passed out before finishing his 3rd beer, and belive me, he was hilarious before that, lol. 3rd was Jon stopping to take a catnap while we didn't have jack going on (except Ben tuning Taylor's car).

A few more. First up is my jacked up tent that I paid $148 from Wally World (WalMart) and it didn't include the 2 main support poles, the rotton bastards, so it gets exchanged when I get time, but while down there, we had to make due. Brad had a good idea, so we used the rainfly pole to prop up the center of the tent so it was livable. Second is a bad assed car I saw being trailered while going down the highway on the way home. Boy was it purdy!

Looks like y'all had fun. Sry to miss it, but, I attribute it to poor planning on my part. Stantmann and I and his cousin had some fun though. Tore down the rest of the 92 Cutty Conv. Amazing what you learn by tearing a car completely apart. And, of course, after the meet is over, I get my check, and the weather changed. Sux...........

Thanks to Ben's Dedication, he got our cars egggcelent! He did such a good job that I damn near burned out my Torque Converter Clutch LOL! Also he tuned our rough engines so well that my 3400 can safely run midgrade!!!!! Taylor's(3100mpfi) engine can run regular!!!!! HOLY MOTHER OF PEARL!!!!! Thanks Ben! Your skills are Top notch!!! To all those who need assistance in tuning, seek Sappyse's Expertise. You will not be disappointed. Thank heavens for Lean cruise!

What was the weather like at the track? It looked cloudy so it might not have been that hot???
I personnaly rebuilt a custom 4T60E transmission and running a custom 3400. If you listen closely to the video you can hear my tires chirp on the 1-2, it did that every run. I had three things against me. wrong length pushrods, Lack of major tuning, and never let my engine cool down. It ran 15.6's 15.7's above 90 mph all night. In fact I red lighted a 15.5. I think I ran it 7 times one after the other. I was having a grand old time I did muster numerous 2.00 60 foot times, thanks to GPX$$' advice of superior tire roastage, also informed me of my perfect reaction time on one of my runs. The bottom end of that engine also helped to get me going as well. I think what determined the most if I got a 15.7 is how my trans shifted from 1-2, it would sometimes miss and hit the rev limiter once, I guess due to the fluid changing viscosity from run to run. I guess I need the engiune governor changed or to have the trans shift earlier. Eitherway it was very warm, high 80s if not low 90's . The humidity was definately felt to be sure.

Yeah well noone was more shocked than I. I put regular in my car and it started to knock everytime I pushed the gas. Mid grade seems fine for mine, doesn't knock unless it's shifting. The exact same deal with Hightest, doesn't knock unless it's shifting. I just got the new pushrods today so I want to get those in asap, without using a scale, they seem lighter than the stockers... And I gotta find a Torque converter, preferably a new reman unit.

I'm boycotting any 60* meets until Ben can tune OBD-II! :P I wish I could have come, but having a new baby and a relatively new job kind of prohibitted me from doing so.

Here is probably my favorite shot of the entire meet:

It may look like just a shot of trees, but if you look near the top of the picture, that is Chris's nitro RC truck about 7 feet in the air after going off of a ramp. Chris needs to put up some of the videos as well, like the one where he tried to kill me by jumping the truck right at me!!!
I took almost the exact same pic! See! I told you I would be there! Nice jump Chris!! Disclaimer: This picture is not a fake, and the author has no responsibilities in this matter. He is actually the most irresponsible person he knows.

so you drive a scaled RC car? Thats pretty interesting:P

I wonder what those pushrods are gonna do to the tuning now:P Did you get the laptop reinstalled with an OS? I gotta wipe my HD out (thank god I have all my files on a seperate partition now) before I can send you a copy of some stuff.
