i bought a new gas tank for my 88 prix. b/c the oem was all rusty and nasty, so i put it in and now when i fill it. it dont go down fast enough, and when done filling spits all over!!! so i made them send me a replacement and still the same! the tubing is new the breather is not clogged! or kinked so please no one tell me that i got it 100 times! i even bought a new float thinkin it was the emissions breather on top but NO, the canister is new and so is the hoses. the only thing i can think of if u notice the OEM tank the breather is on top of the filler neck, and on the replacement there right next to each other. so i m thinkin when almost filled they r filling at the same time and the tank cant breath? thats the only thing i can think of, i mean its comin sense. so i told this to the guy i got the tank from and he said it should have nothing to do with it and should not matter, and he wont refund my money till i buy nother tank and show him the receipt, b/c ppl sent back good tanks to get money back. BUT the OEM tank is almost 400 bucks! and there is only 1 person who makes after market gas tanks so there is no one else i can try... can one u figure it out???? helppppppppppp this is really annoying
