At least you will have an opinion. Most will just sit back and bitch!
Ditto, this will be the first time I vote, not because this will be the first time, but because I don't like Bush that much either.

I didnt vote for bush in 00, but I am in 04.

I don't particularly want the US to sit idley by while towel heads run over here and blow them selves up in malls and buildings. All Kerry will do is throw purple hearts at them.

Isn't bush (no capital B) the reason why most of these "towel-heads" want to blow themselves up in your buildings. Especially since he let Binladin Get away. Looking at recently posted economy stats, and the world veiw of the states.....I'd take my chances with Kerry. Oh, and Micheal Moore is offering up a $10000.00 reward for anyone who can find any holes in his research, I'd like to see a politian do that. So, far nobody is $10000.00 richer.

          Just stating my humble opinion.

I heard something interesting on the radio the other day... No matter what, Bush has always been behind his fight on terrorism. Kerry and Edwards have only been behind it when its good, and against it when its bad.

The Muslim extremists were attacking the US long before either Bush was ever in office. Its about time we took decisive action against them... the rest of the world needs to do the same. As for OBL getting away, ever think of the odds of finding a single person with the whole world to hide in. Not an easy thing to do. The Muslim extremists are causing lots of problems throughout the world not just for the US. Canada's time may come at some point and who will they ask for help.... the US, just like every other country.

When it comes to the economy, it had to crash. Too many things were against it... the dot com bubble then the 9/11 attack. All the crap with the stock market (Enron, Worldcom etc.) began under Clinton and came out after Bush got in office. And the worlds view, I could give a fuck less quite honestly. Our safety comes first.

Anyone can paint a certain view of events through snippets, deletions and manipulative narration. For more on this check out:

I know our government can be pushy sometimes. But frankly its better that way than to be the ones getting pushed around. I prefer that the US is the dominant superpower and that will end if Kerry gets in office. The EU and NATO would be calling the shots.... screw that.

              And thats my 2 cents....

Im voting kerry. I dont like him, and I dont like bush, and nadar is just an ass taking away from kerrys votes.

However, I have an ass of a friend who hops fences every year and talks politics night and day even though he knows nothing,I mean NOTHING, about politics.

Last week while driving with him to the store, I had to listen to a huge anti bush rant (just like the anti clinton rants I had to hear previous years) and I started playing dumb and said "You seem to know alot about the gov, I forget, how does the legislative branch of the govornment work again?" He told me he didnt remember then continued on about bush

SOOO, now I every year I find out who hes voting for and I vote opposite to cancell his vote. Just doin my part to make sure one less idiot steers the country

its very sad when the only discussion for this election involves the war, terrorism, and the things that are effected by it (like the economy). What about the bullshit tax break setup bush pushed for? What about the environmental issues? I dont see the point with iraq other than we failed the first time around to finish the job and now we have to clean up that mess...which created another mess. What about our own laws, gay marriage, marijuana legalization, abortion?

Bush is an idiot...he is not a leader. He doesn't represent the America I want to live in, and im not going to be blinded by war, and im not gonna be gullible for the obvious shit on the other side as well. There is too much to look at and far more than I wish to research on for every topic as well. I really dont think this government is what the founding fathers saw happening, and I dont think our constitution holds the key to the best society. If I could vote for a drastic change in how this nation operates, I would do that instead. That isn't happening, and sick as it is I have to vote the lesser of 2 evils (why do we have only 2 major parties!).

It is August 10, and I don't know how many of you subcribe to AOL, but here is the latest "Straw Poll" results. These are Electoral votes if the election were held today.... Bush:359, Kerry:179, Nader:0. This is not definitive, but there is direction to it.

I really didnt want to get into this shit butt here it goes. I have voted democratic every year Ive been eligible. I did not like Gore One iota but had to vote for someone. here I go again. Kerry probably waffles on stuff too much. Bush seems to be hell bent on war stuff.(seems to like to project a tuff image that the really pisses the rest of the wold off). Im interested in:

                          1. people I know having a good paying job(not like now)

                          2. people I know feeling secure in there present job(definetly not like now)

                          3. people I know having reliable afordable healthcare(this is getting close to being a memory)

                          4. labor issues with this administration took a 180 turn.(one of bushes conservative judges just ruled that a coal company by simply declaring bankrupcy could be let out of their union contract therefor wiping out healthcare and retirement bennies forever.)

These are the most important issues to me and I will make my judgement prob the day b4 election day. I cant vote for bush ,dont like Kerry. Nader? no way. If there is going to be any kind of laws passed in the next couple of years I would love to see something(dont know what) where there would be more than 2 people to vote for. Why should you have to be a millionaire to run for office?

I still think the government needs to do away with the electoral votes crap and just go by shear numbers. The electoral votes was used in the old days when not everyone could get to the polls to vote. Well, we are way past that now, so why not get rid of it. Go with what the people say.

Does anybody find it a little too convienient that they uncover these "terrorist threats" just before the election. It doesn't take a fuckin' genious to see that this benefits bushes campaign.

Ill second getting rid of the fuct up electoral deal. Your rightthis deal was made for a time when comunication across country took days not micro seconds. We now have a very well informed public with the modern day media. let the people decide. We may all have to rise one day and get rid of the 2 party system
