Been having fun with the car trying to get it done for the meet. 3.1 wiring doesnt match the DOHC so its being a lot of fun. Think im gonna bolt the rear head down now though so I can get ready for final porting on the other head tomorrow. Other than this wiring crap though its moving right along. Just gotta figure out the alternator wiring basically.

Helped Ben with above mentioned wiring yesterday, lol. But at least we got alot of the wiring issues taken care of, except where the wires from the plug on the alternator (not the battery terminal) go. They go into the injector harness (along with the temp sensor that goes in the front head on the DOHC, rear head on the 3.1) on the 3.1 harness, but not on the DOHC harness.

I've been working (imagine that) and getting ready to go on vacation. I work all day today (9-7) and then head 4.5 hrs south. The wife, kid and I are spending the week in Tulsa visiting my parents. Driving back up here on Thursday night to drop off the family and heading out to Kentucky on Friday. I've been trying to get a decent amount done on my plenum for the meet. It'll be far from done, but it'll be close enough that I can show it off and get input from everyone. Today is the last day I get to work on it, so we'll see how far I get.

no, but when we bought it, the owner couldnt move out of the house untill the end of aug. so Sept 1st is our Possesion date. when we bought it it was 70something days.. so its getting half there.

i am doing pretty shitty. 1st i finally finished everything with my lumi. it supposedly had a bad head gasket and the guy said the heads were fine, yea right i am still getting water/oil mixtures and the exhaust pipes are still smoking heavily. on the good side my timing was pretty good. be4 the mixing commensed heavily it had crisp throttle response.

i only have room for 2 "project cars" so i am liquidating my 86 fiero gt(besides i wanted an 87-88 anyway) to make room for my lumi that needs heads but i am going to get another motor(a 96 or 97), cause parts and labor will be about the same for either way.
