  • My Celebrity VR in its first car show

Heres my report on entering the VR in a local car show. Yesterday I spent like 6~7 hours detailing EVERYTHING and the VR was looking pimp. As expected, there were no other celebs there and the only other station wagon was a sheriffs dodge magnum (mine looked better though). When I first pulled in I got surrounded by rustangs. After moving the only other car near me was a autocross miata (pretty nice for a dual duty car). A few people remember having a celeb but not a vr. One guy even said the early 2.8 fuelies were junk but that just was showing his ignorance. All others were positive. I would have won the Best Under Construction but a guy with a 3 foot wide vw bug that was 99.99 percent complete took it instead. But I tore it up on the trivia!!! My VR is now sporting a new AC/DC steering wheel cover (red & black), 2 New AC/DC seat covers, and a new windshield shade!! Plus a couple of friends came along to add to the good time.
All and all it was a great outing and first official showing plus I got a nice dash plaque.

Now I need to find some aloe for the sunburns!
Tuning a car is full of compromises. You must decide if you are willing to give up either reliability, performance, or a whole load of cash. Also remember that repairs will seem to come up much more often as you strive for even more performance

I saw one down here but it is pretty beat up. Probably not many around. Got any pics of the car/other cars at the show?

Sorry, no pics of the car at the show as I didnt have a camera. I think I have pics on here of my car on this site, if not I'll add some. If you want to see it in person I will have it at the Turkey Rod Run this Nov.
