Ok,,, putting on a smaller pulley is the least of the mods. Headers, roller rockers, massive tuning with computer, intercooler, and countless other little mods performed in my own garage...

This is the kind of big headed attitude I am talking about. Who cares if it is faster if you like it and we don't. I am sure you guys don't like the LQ1. So what do you run with all of the stuff you listed in your last post? Not getting snotty, just curious.

Of all the mods you said there, the pulley is the best by far. I drove a SSEI before and after a pulley, and it was like a whole new car. I was amazed at how much power it picked up. After the pulley, an intake, and an exhaust the car was right on my bumper.

And the headers suck. Period. The collector is a whole 2" long, and the primaries aren't even within 6" of length to each toher. That's bad.

And with only those mods, "massive tuning" is not only unnesesary but really pointless. Since the car was made to handle boost, it knows when it is getting more or less, and adjusts the fuel accordingly to a certain extent.

Oh, and in case you think I'm an idiot, I've performed a mod or two in my garage. (building headers and an ITB intake manifold comes to mind....)

As for the shirts, I want one and think they are funny! But I am about 16$ short of a 16$ shirt.

Actually...the #5 primary broke the other night, and I am not sure if I will have itt done by the time you come out here. Still call me, you can come over see my car or whatever, but I'm not positive I'll have it done by then. It everything goes well, I should.

I was thinking about this on the way home from work. The reason people like the L67 is because it has an aftermarket. They can go out and buy whatever performance upgrades they want. With the 60º, you actually have to be somewhat intelligent and come up with ideas on your own. And that takes more than half a brain... When was the last time an L67 owner had to use their head to get more power out of their car? Well, I guess it does take some brain power to pull the wallet out of your pocket and tell someone your CC number.
it sucks when all you have to do is bolt on a few parts and run low 13's to 14's

I like the shirt though. You should wear it with pride, maybe as a badge of honor.

By the way don't forget to add L32 to the shirt. They did change the designation for '04.

I have owned 7 60 degree V6's most of them in X-body's and have nothing bad to say about them. They much like the 3800 are pretty much bullet proof. Well except for the 2.8 HO that I blew up while revving to 8000 rpm

I just find it funny that a few on this site our upset by the aftermarket support the 3800 gets. I will also admit that I bought the GP after coming from foriegn cars because of it's aftermarket support.

Again the shirt is great. Everyone has pride in what they drive.

Im not upset about the 3800 aftermarket. That was just what the owners at clubgp seem to dream up along with the other reasons they think of. The 3.1 has more parts available for it than the L67 does really so thats a dull point. The supercharger is the only reason the L67 responds well to mods, but then again so does the turbo 3.1 or any other boosted engine.

As far as I know, I haven't gotten mine yet either. Jon had to have used a different shipping method to get it that quick!

And as far as the shirt color, we haven't done the grey ones yet... only white. As stated before, this is a limited run for this shirt, so it will be no longer available soon.
