For me its just the fact of having something to rebel against.. mostly brought on by the mass exodus of 60ºV6 owners to the L67 when it came out. I also think that the 3800 mated to an eaton blower is just a horrible combination. Yes it makes power, but thats the point.. its the ONLY reason it makes power. I dont care to drive a car with an engine that sounds like it has bearings going bad 24/7

But that will all soon change once the 3900 is prevelant.

Now that I think about it, the attitude to me is kinda like the riceboy mentality. For the L67 guys, it's I have a supercharger. The riceboys think a big high rise spoiler and a fartpipe make them fast. Not to mention the L67 guys seem to think nothing else is fast because of that S/C. Obviously they forgot about the Mustang and Camaro aftermarket, just to name a small bunch.

For me, its the replies in posts made by owners and non owners. "how do I get more hp from a 3400" "swap in the L67". "How hard is it to turbo my DOHC" "why, the L67 has boost, just swap that in". Gets annoying, as if the L67 is the answer to every question. It started in 97, got worse in 98, and by 2000 it was down right pissin me off.

A 1000 hp L67 wouldn't impress me, cause I just don't give a fuck about that motor. I don't even care about V8s....all my time and research has been for these motors. That will change someday...since i have an olds 350 I want to play with in the future but the foundation is set in 60V6. Makes as much sense as a 90V8 to me, perfect spacing. a 90V6 seems like a corner cutting plan to make a V6 for something you don't want a V8 in. Its not surprising that the 60V6 line is getting more upgrades and designs. VVT in a pushrod V6? Surely GM would have done that for the 3800 if it was the end all be all engine platform.

Besides, if everyone liked the same thing, the world would be pretty damn simple to live in.Not everyone on this site has the same feelings I do, or chris, or jon, or others. Some just happen to have a 60V6 in their car and want to fix it or make it faster. That is what the site is about, not about hating the L67. The shirt slogan on the front was my idea...brad asked what I wanted and I told him. If others want the same thing, thats cool with me. We will have other shirts in the future that are more positive and more appropriate for our site character. Im not afraid to offend, and I guess thats what happens with the site is in my name...you get a shirt with how I feel on it

I should add that I dont hate L67 owners just because they own an L67. I dont care if L67 owners are on this site...but im not gonna deal with bashing the 60V6,and im not gonna deal with praising the l67 as such as I described above (the answer to every question). There are tons of sites for that, this just happens to be one that isn't. Remember, this isn't a holy war.

The only reason we GP owners think this is funny, is because we know its due to the simple fact that our cars are faster, have more aftermarket, oh yeah and are faster...
Look on our sight for t-shirts bashing other domestics, or anything for that matter. We dont put down the LS1 and many of us are past owners or would like to be future owners.

I dont care what is on other sites for what they sell. This is the shirt I wanted, and if others want it then they can have it. If not, they wont get it. BRILLIANT!

I was thinking about this on the way home from work. The reason people like the L67 is because it has an aftermarket. They can go out and buy whatever performance upgrades they want. With the 60º, you actually have to be somewhat intelligent and come up with ideas on your own. And that takes more than half a brain... When was the last time an L67 owner had to use their head to get more power out of their car? Well, I guess it does take some brain power to pull the wallet out of your pocket and tell someone your CC number.

And to the person on ClubGP (because I know you guys are making sure to keep up on this thread) that said something about "how many people will even know what L67 stands for"... that is kind of the point. Besides, when was the last time you understood every t-shirt walking through the mall?

Not to mention, they are like the sheep most people here claim they are. Example: TB heat sheild. They say there is a sucker born every minute, but I didn't think all of them owned L67's.
