Martha Stewart lied about a LEGAL stock transaction.but she lied to the FBI. she was not prosecuted for any stock market fraud, but for lieing to the FBI, about something that was LEGAL. many experts beleive that she was mad an example of, that someone of lesser fame would have received LESS of a sentence.
