OK so here's the deal. I just got my minivan (2002 Chevrolet venture) back from my ex. And I guess her dad had been doing the repairs on it. So finally he gave up on fixing it and I got it back. (Don't ask why she had it, long story) so I get it back, try to start it no go. Interior completely molded and rusted to crap. So I look under the Hood and all kinds of wiring is disconnected and starter is just hanging there.

So my question for you is I have someone interested in the engine, how much should I sell it for? There is a little over 225kms on it.

Check car-part.com and see what the going rate for one is in your area to get a good ballpark figure. In my area I can't seem to find one of any mileage for under a grand, but several places outside the county are more reasonable. If you are parting out the complete car you can grab a number of items that fit more models than just minivans.
